geoteaming
Navigate. Strategize. Win Together.
GeoTeaming is a high-tech team building scavenger hunt that transforms your team into skilled navigators. Using GPS technology and aerial maps, teams navigate through stunning Santa Cruz redwoods, deciphering clues and locating hidden caches to maximize revenue—both for their team and the organization as a whole.
how geoteaming works
Each team receives GPS devices, aerial maps, and ingenious clues leading to hidden containers scattered throughout the property. Every cache carries a different revenue value based on difficulty—some require problem solving puzzles, others demand physical challenges. The twist? Teams must balance competing for their own success with recognizing how collaboration across teams drives organizational performance.
The experience unfolds in carefully designed phases. Teams begin by analyzing maps and developing their game plan—deciding which caches to pursue, how to divide responsibilities, and what route makes the most sense. Then they head into the woods for execution, where plans meet reality and adaptation becomes essential. In our 4-hour design, teams regroup midway to reassess strategy based on what they've learned.
Shorter design options are available starting at 2+ hours.

Your team will return energized, connected, and equipped with insights they'll apply long after the last cache is found. Whether your an athletic team looking to deepen bonds, a project team hoping to build communication skills, or an executive leadership team looking to find strategic alignment, Geoteaming delivers a high-impact experience for everyone!
“At places like Chaminade Conference Center, the trails wind through different ecosystems—eucalyptus groves, redwood forests—and just walking together outdoors creates connection. I’ve seen people light up discovering a banana slug for the first time, or delighting in the smell of eucalyptus leaves.”
